Simple people with a great passion.
Masseria Clementina farm represents the lovely challenge of a young neapolitan enterpreneur, Antonio Buscè, who chose his family vesuvian roots to undertake with passion and commitment an activity that, on one hand leads to the ancient peasant traditions of the place and, on the other hand, is full of a young expression that evolves and expands itself with creativity and originality. In the fertile lava fields, county kissed by the sun and surrounded by Monte Somma and Vesuvius, Masseria Clementina goes back to the ancient cultiva1on of the piennolo's cherry tomatoes d.o.p. that leads to the sweet yellow tomato that's made in bunches or delicious preserves.
The farms's six hectares distributed between hazelnuts and orchards, allow to a big production of delicious hazelnuts and apricots "Albicocche del Vesuvio" - Slow Food Presidium - : Pellecchiella, Portici, Boccuccia Liscia, Palummella, Prete bello. Diamond tip of this young project is the “Vesuvian Saffron” cultivation. Masseria Clementina is the first and only producer of this precious spice in the vesuvian zone. It received the certificate of excellence.
